    Well, I'm from Canada but in the french speaking part : Quebec. here you would also find a lot of Alain among older people...not as popular now with newest generation.

    Yeah I've noticed that. Most of the people I've heard that have that name are an older crowd....unless you're an actor like Alain Delon which is who my mother named me after. My mother and her girly crushes, lol.
